Job Description

Position Summary

This is a full-time on-site role located in Noida for a S3D Piping Administrator at Coperion. The associate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Smart Plant 3D software, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Experience of Admin related activities is a must.

Work You'll Do

Main Role & Responsibilities

  • 8-10 years experience in piping design, creating models and 4-5 years experience in managing, maintaining S3D in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for execution of projects
  • Competent with S3D Navisworks and performed Admin activities for the Project
  • Familiar with currently extensively used Modularization Concepts
  • Adept of all DEP, work instruction, design standards and technology executed by EPC like EIL, Tecnimont, Technip, etc.
  • New project setup creation according to vendor requirements
  • Pipe spec creation
  • Customization of the catalogue
  • Coperion pipe support standard
  • Isometric setup
  • General arrangement drawing (GADs) setup
  • Report creation
  • Support for structural & Electrical items, including Indian standard members, cable tray specification, etc
  • Provide technical support and training to users
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Smart S3d system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Well-versed in reading P&IDs, Hookups, Equipment GA
  • Planning & execution for stem jacketed lines as per company standard
  • Preparation of Piping MTOs (Bulk, Intermediate & Final)
  • Review & comments on vendor drawing to improve plant Gas/Layouts
  • Review the piping design basis & integrate client requirements
  • Participate in 30/60/90 % model review with project team and client
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors & other disciplines for discrepancies and design issues
  • Take ownership and sense of responsibility to deliver within the project time schedule
  • Execute applicable scope of work in compliance with the requirements of the Project
  • Ensure that the documentation is prepared, checked and approved according to Project Quality Plan and ready to be released by the respective Project Manager
  • Communicate to the Project Team status and progress of projects scheduled deliverables
  • Communicate man-hour spent
  • Record and communicate all changes to original scope

Basic Qualifications

  • B.E. Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D software Administration (Advanced) and Modeling (Expert)
  • Able to come up with new ways of doing things
  • Be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • Persistence and determination
  • Leadership and motivational skills
  • Familiar with Detail Engineering work flow.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple requests.
  • Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical Industry is preferred
