Your role
The SAP S/4HANA Finance Delivery Lead supports the delivery of core SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities within the ampliFi program, with primary accountability across General Ledger (GL), Group Reporting (GR), consolidation, reporting, and the broader Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) landscape. The role is responsible for driving disciplined execution across functional design, business validation, testing readiness, and production transition, ensuring that finance processes, close activities, and reporting outcomes are delivered in line with UBS accounting principles, governance, and control standards.
The role partners closely with Finance, Group Reporting and Consolidation teams, Data, Integration, and Technology stakeholders and acts as a functional representative for S/4HANA Finance within the delivery. It ensures that business requirements are translated into robust, well‑controlled finance solutions aligned with the target architecture and capable of supporting stable close, consolidation, and reporting cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end functional delivery for assigned SAP S/4HANA Finance workstreams covering General Ledger, Group Reporting, consolidation, and reporting within the ampliFi finance stack, with clear ownership of outcomes.
- Contribute to and review functional designs and configurations across FI/CO to ensure alignment with agreed solution architecture, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure that S/4HANA Finance solutions support accurate posting, close, consolidation, and reporting outcomes, including integration with upstream subledgers and downstream reporting consumers.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans covering functional scope, milestones, dependencies, and impacts across S/4HANA Finance integration points and reporting consumption.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID), with a focus on financial accuracy, close stability, consolidation integrity, and regulatory expectations, escalating where required.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery across Finance, Group Reporting, Data, Integration, Testing, and Deployment teams to ensure coherent end‑to‑end execution across close, consolidation, and reporting cycles.
- Ensure adherence to agreed delivery standards, accounting principles, design decisions, and change control processes across the S/4HANA Finance scope.
- Support SIT and UAT execution from a functional perspective, including validation of close and consolidation scenarios, assessment of defects based on finance impact, and support for business sign‑off.
- Assist with production readiness and cutover preparation, focusing on stability of financial close and consolidation cycles, accuracy of balances and reports, and smooth transition to business‑as‑usual operations post go‑live.

Required Experience & Skills
- Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities within large‑scale transformation programs, hands on configuration in SAP GL, AP, AR, AA, Project Systems is required.
- Solid understanding of group close and consolidation concepts, including intercompany processing, eliminations, currency translation, and consolidation hierarchies.
- Strong knowledge of Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) processes and the ability to translate business requirements into structured, well‑controlled functional outcomes.
- Good grasp of delivery governance fundamentals, including planning, dependency management, RAID management, and structured status reporting.
- Experience operating in complex, global delivery environments with multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, structured, and finance‑relevant updates to support informed decision‑making.
- Delivery‑focused mindset with strong attention to control, quality, and end‑to‑end finance outcomes.
