Job Description

. Proven experience of 8-10 years as a Ruby on Rails developer

. Strong understanding of the Ruby language and its nuances.

. Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Ruby scripts for multiple needs.

. Expertise in the Ruby on Rails framework and its core principles (MVC, RESTful architecture, Active Record, etc.).

. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) is a significant plus.

. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and advanced design patterns: Design Principles.

. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, SQLite) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) concepts.

. Familiarity with concepts of Mocking and testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).

. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.

. Experience with API frameworks and API integration.

. Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.

. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.

. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.

. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

. Familiarity with Clinical trial domain is a plus.

. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a cross-functional project team
