Primary Title: Ruby on Rails Developer
About The Opportunity
A fast-growing player in the Software Development & IT Services sector delivering cloud-native web applications and SaaS platforms across fintech, e-commerce, and enterprise verticals. We build scalable, secure, high-performance Rails systems with strong emphasis on automated testing, CI/CD and rapid product iteration. Remote-first role based in India; cross-functional engineering teams operate in Agile sprints.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain production-grade web applications using Ruby on Rails; own features end-to-end from design to deployment.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services; implement background jobs and scheduled processing.
- Author and maintain automated tests (RSpec) and follow TDD practices to ensure high code quality and low defect rates.
- Optimize database schema and queries for PostgreSQL; implement appropriate indexing and migrations to support scale.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and Agile ceremonies; collaborate with product and QA to deliver incremental value.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and assist with deployment, monitoring, and incident response to maintain SLAs and uptime.

Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience building and shipping web applications on Ruby on Rails (the role targets candidates with around 4 years of commercial RoR experience). Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, caching, authentication, security best practices) and practical experience working in Agile teams.
