Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an RSO 2 Nuclear Medicine Department (Radiation Safety Officer 2) located in Amritsar. The RSO 2 will be responsible for overseeing radiation safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting safety audits, and implementing safety procedures in Nuclear Medicine Department. The role also includes training staff on radiation safety measures, maintaining radiation safety equipment, and investigating any incidents involving radiation exposure in Nuclear Medicine department. The RSO 2 will collaborate with various departments to ensure a safe and compliant environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiation safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and implementing safety procedures.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to radiation safety.
• Skills in training staff on radiation safety measures and maintaining safety equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different departments
• Dip, Bachelor & master's degree in a relevant field such as Nuclear Medicine.
• Certification as a Radiation Safety Officer is a plus.
