RS - Chemical Research

We're seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Chemical Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in driving cost reduction and process improvement initiatives, managing lab operations, and providing critical support for scale-up and plant commissioning. This role is perfect for a professional with deep expertise in the fine chemicals industry who can seamlessly transition new products from the lab to full-scale commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Reduction & Process Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process optimizations for existing products. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to troubleshoot process issues, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement on key projects to ensure cost competitiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve product quality.
• Data Management & Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all R&D activities. Prepare comprehensive documentation, including experimental protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data management.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a fine chemicals industry R&D setting.
• Strong proficiency in data management and lab safety.
