Routing Specialist - Transport

Routing Executive is responsible for planning, optimizing, and managing employee transportation routes to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective pick-ups and drop-offs. The role involves route planning, coordination with drivers and vendors, handling daily operational issues, and ensuring compliance with company and statutory transport policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and optimize daily pick-up and drop routes for employees
• Allocate vehicles and drivers based on shift schedules and headcount
• Ensure on-time transportation while minimizing distance, time, and fuel costs
• Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor vehicle movement and address real-time routing issues or delays
• Handle last-minute route changes, absenteeism, and emergency requirements
• Maintain route data, employee rosters, and trip sheets in transport software
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and compliance guidelines (especially for night shifts)
• Resolve employee transport-related queries and complaints
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on utilization, cost, and performance
• Support audits and inspections related to employee transport operations
