We're looking for a Robotics Systems Engineer who owns end-to-end system integration. You will ensure perception, computer vision, firmware, tracking, hardware, and compute operate as one cohesive robotic system and make our robots production-ready and field-reliable.
What You'll Do
- Integrate sensors, embedded compute, motor drivers, and control systems
- Integrate and validate computer vision pipelines with real-time control loops
- Define clean system interfaces across perception, firmware, and hardware teams
- Architect communication pipelines (CAN, UART, Ethernet, etc.)
- Diagnose and resolve cross-layer failures across hardware, firmware, and vision systems
- Build system diagnostics, health monitoring, and telemetry
- Ensure deterministic timing and synchronization across modules
- Lead system validation, stress testing, and field reliability efforts
- Support production deployment and hardware revisions
Requirements
- 23 years experience building integrated robotic systems
- Strong robotics fundamentals (controls, sensors, embedded compute)
- Hands-on experience with Computer Vision in real robotic systems
- Experience integrating cameras, IMUs, encoders, motor controllers, and embedded compute
- Comfortable working across mechanical, firmware, AI, and vision teams
- Strong debugging mindset across hardware and software boundaries
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and structured testing workflows
Bonus
- Experience shipping robots to real-world customers
- Exposure to safety systems or fault-tolerant design
- Experience with real-time Linux environments
- Production manufacturing and deployment experience
