Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Learning & understanding the basics
- Learning the basic concepts of robotics, electronics, and automation
- Understanding components like motors, sensors, batteries, switches, and controllers
- Getting familiar with block-based or beginner text coding (Scratch/Arduino basics)
- Hands-on robot building
- Assembling simple robots such as a line follower robot, an obstacle-avoiding robot, and a light or sound-sensing robot
- Using safe tools and kits under supervision
- Following instructions and wiring diagrams correctly
- Coding & logic development
- Writing simple programs to control robot movement and read sensor input
- Performing basic automated tasks
- Modifying code to improve robot performance
- Debugging simple errors with mentor guidance
- Experimentation & innovation
- Testing robots and observing behavior
- Suggesting small improvements or creative ideas
- Participating in mini challenges and tasks
- Learning by trial and error in a safe environment
- Teamwork & collaboration
