Robotics Engineer

We are building laser weeding robots for farm tractors. As a Robotics Engineer, you'll work on the systems that help our robots see the world, understand where they are, and interact with their environment through motion and manipulation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with stereo cameras and other sensors for real-time perception and environment understanding.
• Develop and implement visual odometry and localization systems, including visual SLAM pipelines.
• Design and build robust manipulation and control systems for robotic arms and mobile bases.
• Write and deploy code for motion planning, kinematics, control loops, and trajectory optimization.
• Develop and tune robotic control systems (e.g., PID, MPC) for precise actuation and stability.
• Conduct field tests in real-world conditions; debug and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
• Continuously optimize perception, planning, and control subsystems for performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ROS/ROS2, and strong skills in C++ or Python.
• Experience with visual SLAM, depth sensing, or odometry techniques.
• Understanding of robot kinematics, motion control, and actuator integration.
• Comfortable working hands-on with hardware in outdoor or dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with embedded systems like Arm-based computers, etc.
