Job Overview
The role involves hands-on work in robot commissioning, debugging, programming, and optimization of BIW welding and material handling lines. The engineer will be responsible for supporting projects from installation through to final customer acceptance (FAC).
Key Responsibilities
- Robot commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site support
- Programming and debugging using teach pendant / offline tools
- BIW welding line execution (spot welding, MIG welding, sealing, material handling)
- Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis in robot cells
- Robot simulation and cycle time optimization
- Controller configuration and network setup
- Coordination with suppliers and project teams till FAC
- Ensuring safety and process compliance at site
Requirements
- B.E / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering
- 4–8 years of experience in robotics / automation projects
- Hands-on experience with ABB or Kawasaki robots
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Willingness to travel and work on commissioning sites
