Risk and Safety Engineer

The Role

As a Risk and Safety Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

• Fire zone mapping.
• Fire water demand calculation.
• Adequacy check and ring main hydraulics.
• Hydrant layout
• Fire protection PIDs
• Active Fire Protection equipment datasheets
• Vendor engineering (MR, TBE, VDR) of active Fire protection system
• Vendor engineering (MR, TBE, VDR) of clean agent system
• Hazardous area classification
• Fireproofing.
• Fire Gas detector mapping / identification.
• Escape route layouts.
• Safety equipment layouts
• Dispersion studies
• Consequence analysis
• Preparation of TOR for various safety studies
• HAZOP/HAZID participation

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 - 15 years of experience in process safety or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven track record of conducting process hazard analyses and implementing safety management systems.
• Proficient in process safety analysis software and tools.
• Experience with risk assessment tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis.
