Job Description Summary:

Risk Analytics: Market and Counterparty Risk Management (MCRM) is responsible for design and production of reports and requires interaction with multiple business partners including the Market Risk Officers, Counterparty Credit Risk, and Technology teams, etc.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
  • Review and analyze in data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models, identify opportunities and deliver process improvements, standardization and automation
  • Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance
  • Resolve data, production, business modeling, and meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
  • Design & develop BI reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, Python and other tools to meet business analytic needs of risk officers
  • Perform data extraction and transformation using SQL query to create data set required for dashboard, enhance and maintain existing PowerBI framework, dashboards/reports and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with BI support team for challenge resolution and remediation, sharing best practices and training support to other team members

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience of Risk Analytics experience in Data Analytics & PowerBI, Tableau, SQL
  • Good database skills including SQL.

  • Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.

  • Self-starter, takes initiative, and has a strong desire to learn and grow.

  • Understanding of generative AI concepts.

  • Financial industry experience, especially in risk management, is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Experience in large, global financial services organizations preferred.

  • Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or a relevant field.
