Role & Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of credit policies across Banks and NBFCs in the Indian lending ecosystem.
- Offer strategic insights to enhance customer acquisition, build statistical credit models, and communicate analytical recommendations.
- Track and evaluate existing models by designing experiments to assess customer credit behavior.
- Monitor acquisition funnels, model outcomes, and portfolio trends to generate lending and business insights.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to develop and refine credit acquisition and risk management capabilities.
- Contribute ideas and support the launch of innovative lending products and structures.
- Review monthly transactions and prepare reports for planning and risk management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in credit policy, underwriting strategy, or risk modeling.
- Strong background in credit risk for short-term unsecured products such as personal loans and credit cards in the Indian market.
- Experience in developing strategies for lending, customer acquisition, and portfolio management.
- Proficient in analytical tools like Excel and BI dashboards; knowledge of Python or R is an added advantage.
- Comfortable pushing boundaries and passionate about cutting-edge work in unsecured credit risk.
