Revenue Operations Associate - Billing & Collections

About the role

We're hiring a Revenue Operations Analyst to own the day-to-day operational backbone of our billing, collections, and revenue data workflows - and to help automate them. You'll sit within the Revenue Operations team and work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.

This role is part operator, part analyst, part automation builder. You'll spend your time keeping invoicing and accounts receivables (AR) running smoothly, talking to customers about overdue payments, cleaning and maintaining revenue data across HubSpot, Chargebee & ChartMogul, and identifying parts of the process that can be automated or improved. As you grow into the role, you'll take on broader RevOps projects supporting the Sales and CSM teams.

What you'll do

Invoicing & billing operations

  • Manage end-to-end invoicing workflows in Chargebee, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance
  • Handle billing exceptions, prorations, plan changes, and one-off adjustments
  • Partner with CSMs and Sales on contract changes that affect billing
  • Maintain clean billing data and reconcile against that maintained on HubSpot, ChartMogul and with Finance

Accounts receivable & collections

  • Monitor aging receivables and run structured collections workflows
  • Make outbound collections calls and send dunning communications to overdue customers
  • Escalate at-risk accounts to CSMs and leadership with clear context
  • Maintain weekly key metrics reporting

Renewals operations

  • Track upcoming renewals and ensure renewal invoices are issued on time
  • Flag at-risk renewals to CSM team based on billing and engagement signals

Data & systems

  • Partner with RevOps team members to maintain data hygiene across HubSpot, Chargebee, and connected systems
  • Build and maintain dashboards/reports on billing, AR, renewals, and collections
  • Identify manual workflows that can be automated and partner with the RevOps team to implement

Automation & continuous improvement

  • Help design and build automations across invoicing, dunning, renewal reminders, and collections workflows
  • Use AI tools and the team's existing automation stack (HubSpot workflows, Chargebee automations, internal AI agents) to reduce manual effort
  • Document SOPs as workflows mature

Cross-functional support

  • Pitch in on Sales and CSM operational tasks as needed - data cleanup, list building, reporting, ad-hoc analysis
  • Partner with Support on customer issues that have a billing or contract dimension
  • Partner with Product to raise automation requests within the product that will streamline billing processes
What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue operations & finance operations - ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and comfort with data
  • Confidence on the phone and in writing - you'll be talking to customers
  • High attention to detail and a structured, process-oriented mindset
  • Strong written communication, especially for customer-facing emails
  • Self-starter who can own workflows end-to-end without heavy supervision

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with Chargebee, Stripe Billing, or similar billing platforms
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpo
  • Familiarity with no-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n) or comfort with light scripting
  • Curiosity about AI tools and how to apply them to operational workflows
  • Experience working with Sales and Customer Success teams
