Role OverviewThe Revenue Growth & Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving patient admissions and surgical volume across the hospital.
The goal is to maximize bed occupancy, OT utilization, and overall monthly revenue through strategic outreach, partnerships, and patient acquisition initiatives.
This is a high-impact role requiring deep local healthcare networks, strong relationship-building skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities1. IPD & ICU Revenue Growth
- Drive admissions in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Post-ICU recovery.
- Build a network of referral doctors, small clinics, and nursing homes for stabilized patient transfers.
- Coordinate with resident doctors and operations teams to ensure efficient bed utilization and patient satisfaction.
2. Surgery & Procedure Growth
- Increase orthopedic, diabetic foot, general, and laparoscopic surgeries through referrals and partnerships.
- Collaborate with surgeons and consultants to optimize OT scheduling and patient flow.
- Identify opportunities in gastro, urology, ENT, and minor surgeries to grow volumes.
3. Network & Partnerships
- Develop relationships with referring physicians, diagnostic centers, physiotherapists, and corporate clinics.
- Build collaborations with insurance partners, TPAs, and corporates for cashless or empaneled services.
- Support medical tourism and second-opinion programs for out-station and NRI patients.
4. Marketing & Outreach
- Plan and execute local outreach activities, camps, and corporate health checkups.
- Work with the marketing team to create doctor visibility campaigns and patient education drives.
- Represent the hospital at events, CME programs, and healthcare conferences.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain detailed tracking of IPD admissions, surgeries, conversions, and revenue performance.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports and recommend action plans to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 515 years in healthcare/hospital sales, IPD business development, or revenue management.
- Network: Proven relationships with referring doctors, nursing homes, and corporates in ChandigarhMohali region.
- Knowledge of specialties: Understanding of internal medicine (ICU/IPD), orthopedics, and surgical care preferred.
