Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive professional to lead the Revenue Assurance (RA) function. This role is responsible for defining, institutionalizing, and driving the RA charter across Nykaa's business verticals. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating revenue leakages, ensuring automation of controls, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and building a high-performance team to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build & Institutionalize the RA Charter
- Define and expand the RA universe, identifying potential revenue and cost leakages across business units and multiple channels.
- Establish robust RA controls and continuously monitor for gaps.
- Conduct detailed RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions) in collaboration with stakeholders.
2. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service) to communicate findings and ensure timely implementation of CAPAs.
- Regularly publish insightful MIS reports and RA dashboards.
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders for implementing CAPA
- Act as the key liaison for internal and external audits related to revenue assurance.
3. Revenue Leakage Identification & Control Review
- Perform regular reviews of existing RA controls to ensure alignment with evolving business logic.
- Design and implement new RA controls based on identified process gaps.
- Analyze configuration for various cart rules, discounts, promo codes or any other schemes
- Ensure accuracy in margins and lLead one-time cleanup initiatives for margin corrections and fraud recovery.
- Provide oversight through monitoring of mitigation measures identified
4. Automation & Technology Enablement
- Drive end-to-end automation of manual RA processes and exception reports.
- Collaborate with BI and Tech teams to streamline complex use cases.
- Implement proactive early warning indicators through data analytics
- Ensure real-time visibility of key metrics through automated dashboards (86+ reports automated till date).
5. Team Leadership & People Development
- Build and lead a capable RA team, driving a culture of ownership, collaboration, and learning.
- Manage talent, ensure knowledge sharing, and maintain low attrition.
- Foster continuous learning and behavioral alignment with Nykaa's values (One Nykaa, Be Bold, Customer First, Sustainability, etc.)

- Number of new RA controls built and automated
- Value of revenue leakage identified and prevented
- Stakeholder alignment & closure of identified gaps

Qualifications & Experience:
- CA/MBA Finance or equivalent professional degree
- 810 years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Risk Management, or Internal Audit (preferably in e-commerce/retail/FMCG/tech-driven environments)
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, systems, and margin structures
- Proven track record of identifying frauds and revenue leakages
