Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Retina Consultant to join our Retina Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic and surgical expertise in managing retinal disorders and a commitment to delivering comprehensive and empathetic patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, etc.
- Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, intravitreal injections, and retinal laser treatments.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools like OCT, FFA, B-scan, and fundus photography for clinical evaluations.
- Collaborate with general ophthalmologists and sub-specialists for holistic patient management.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of clinical cases and patient records.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and ongoing medical education programs.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and post-operative follow-up.
Qualifications
- MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship in Medical and/or Surgical Retina from a recognized institute
- Valid medical license (as per local/state regulatory requirements)
