Role overview

As a growth, retention & affiliate marketing manager, you will lead technical marketing strategies aimed at new customer acquisition, retention, loyalty programs and affiliate partnerships. You will utilize advanced analytical tools, automation platforms and strategic affiliate management techniques to drive measurable growth and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end growth marketing strategies across customer acquisition, activation, retention, re-engagement and affiliate channels
  • Own growth economics including CAC, LTV, retention cohorts, payback periods and ROI, ensuring profitable and scalable growth
  • Design, implement, and optimize lifecycle marketing programs using CRM platforms, email automation, push notifications and behavioral triggers
  • Build and manage a structured experimentation framework across the funnel, including hypothesis development, test prioritization, execution and insight documentation
  • Lead segmentation, targeting, and personalization initiatives using data-driven insights to improve engagement, conversion and retention
  • Implement and manage affiliate marketing programs, including partner identification, onboarding, commission structures, performance optimization and revenue growth
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance using analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) across growth, retention and affiliate channels
  • Partner with performance marketing, product, content, and data teams to align acquisition, activation, and retention into a unified growth roadmap
  • Lead customer journey mapping to identify key touchpoints, friction areas and opportunities to enhance customer experience and conversion
  • Manage affiliate relationships, performance reporting and strategic optimization to ensure incremental and sustainable revenue contribution
  • Define, track, and report key growth KPIs, translating insights into clear and actionable recommendations for leadership

Qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in marketing, business administration, analytics, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, affiliate marketing, or a related role
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (Webengage, Mailchimp, HubSpot, CleverTap, etc.)
  • Basic proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Excel)
  • Experience with affiliate marketing programs or platforms is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
