Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Retention Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive retention marketing strategy across channels (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, In-app, Loyalty, Referral).
  • Customer Segmentation: Define customer cohorts and personalize communications based on user behavior, purchase patterns, and lifecycle stage.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute drip campaigns, win-back flows, product replenishment reminders, post-purchase journeys, and subscription nudges.
  • A/B Testing: Continuously test subject lines, creative formats, messaging, send times, and more to optimize performance.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track key KPIs—repeat rate, churn rate, CLTV, CAC payback, email open/click/conversion rates—and iterate based on data.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Tech, Creative, and CX teams to improve user experience and drive retention goals.
  • Tool Ownership: Manage CRM tools like Klaviyo, MoEngage, Clevertap, WebEngage, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of experience in retention marketing or CRM, preferably with a D2C or e-commerce brand.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (Klaviyo, WebEngage, MoEngage, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort using data tools (Google Analytics, Excel, dashboards).
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills for customer-facing campaigns.
  • Experience in cohort analysis, funnel tracking, and understanding of attribution models.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with loyalty or referral programs.
  • Understanding of Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Prior work in beauty, wellness, fashion, or D2C brands.
