The Role: Retail Solar Specialist
As a Retail Solar Specialist, you are the custodian of the Arkahub Experience Center. Your role is twofold: managing the retail storefront to provide a premium brand experience to walk-in customers, and proactively visiting client sites to close high-value sales. You are a consultant, an operations expert, and a closer all in one.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Retail Store Management: Ensure the Experience Center is customer-ready at all times. Manage walk-ins, explain product displays (ArkaCore, ArkaSky), and maintain store aesthetics and inventory.
- Consultative Selling: Transform walk-in interest into qualified leads. Educate homeowners on solar ROI, net-metering, and the technical superiority of Arkahub products.
- On-Site Closures: Take the conversation from the store to the customer's rooftop. Conduct site visits to finalize technical assessments and close the sale through face-to-face negotiations.
- Store Operations: Manage lead data entry, daily store reporting, and coordinate with the central marketing team for local store marketing (LSM) activities.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, resolving technical or financial doubts with clarity and patience.
What You Will Bring (Required Skills & Experience)
- Experience:34 years in Retail Sales, preferably in premium categories like Luxury Home Decor, High-end Electronics (e.g., Apple, Bose), Modular Kitchens, or Automotive.
- Closing Prowess: Proven ability to move a customer from just looking to a signed contract.
- Hybrid Mindset: While you love the retail environment, you are equally comfortable traveling to client sites across Bangalore to close deals.
- Languages: Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi is mandatory.
- Retail Discipline: Experience in managing store opening/closing, lead trackers, and basic store hygiene.
- Learning Agility: Ability to quickly master solar technicalities, including electricity bills, shadow analysis, and government subsidies.
