Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional in-store sales by greeting customers, uncovering needs, demonstrating products, and closing transactions to meet daily and monthly targets.
- Drive revenue through strategic upselling and cross-selling of jewellery, add-ons, and after-sales services while maintaining high conversion rates.
- Operate POS systems, process cash/ card transactions, and perform accurate end-of-day reconciliation and cash handling tasks.
- Manage inventory: receive stock, perform cycle counts, update records, and escalate discrepancies to store management.
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising and product displays to enhance buyer engagement and reflect brand standards.
- Provide product expertise on metals, hallmarking, gemstones and care instructions; handle customer queries and coordinate after-sales support.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven retail sales experience in jewellery or luxury accessories with a consistent sales track record.
- Strong knowledge of gold, diamonds, precious stones, hallmarking and basic gemology concepts.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic inventory-management processes.
- Demonstrated upselling and cross-selling skills with measurable results.
- Accurate cash handling and reconciliation practices.
- Customer-facing communication in English plus one relevant local language (e.g., Hindi, regional language).
Preferred
- Certification or coursework in gemology (GIA/IGI) or retail sales training.
- Experience using retail CRM or merchandising tools.
- Previous exposure to visual merchandising and store display execution.
