Primary Job Title (standardised): Retail Sales Executive - Jewellery
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding in-store sales: greet customers, assess needs, present product features, and close transactions to meet store sales targets and KPIs.
- Drive revenue through consultative selling, cross-selling, upselling, and proactive clienteling to build repeat business and long-term customer relationships.
- Operate retail POS and complete accurate GST invoicing, returns, exchanges, and loyalty transactions while maintaining cash handling discipline.
- Maintain visual merchandising standardsexecute floor moves, window displays, and planogram adherence to maximise product visibility and conversion.
- Manage stock operations: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support stock audits and shrinkage prevention.
- Ensure compliance with hallmarking/regulatory requirements and store loss-prevention policies; report incidents and maintain secure handling of high-value items.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven retail sales experience in jewellery or luxury retail (demonstrable sales track record).
- Proficiency with retail POS systems and GST invoicing procedures.
- Clienteling and upselling expertise focused on high-value transactions.
- Visual merchandising and inventory management capabilities.
- Accurate cash handling and stock reconciliation.
Preferred
- Knowledge of hallmarking regulations and certification processes.
- Familiarity with gemstone and precious metal identification.
- Experience using CRM or retail management software and loyalty program platforms.
