Retail OMS

Job Title: Retail OMS + Automation + Microservices Testing Engineer Experience Required: 3+ Years Ideal Candidate Profile: Reflections is seeking an Automation Specialist with expertise in Retail Order Management Systems (OMS), automation frameworks, and microservices testing to ensure seamless order orchestration and system reliability.

Retail OMS Testing The engineer will validate the complete order lifecycle, including capture, allocation, fulfillment, cancellation, and returns. Responsibilities include testing integrations between the OMS and external systems such as ERP, POS, CRM, and warehouse systems while ensuring inventory accuracy and synchronization across all channels.

Automation The candidate will design and implement automated test suites for regression, functional, and performance testing. This involves leveraging tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or REST API automation frameworks and integrating these into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

Microservices Testing This role requires performing API testing (REST/GraphQL) for distributed microservices and conducting contract testing, such as Pact, to validate service interactions. Additionally, the engineer will apply service virtualization to simulate dependencies and execute chaos and resilience testing to ensure fault tolerance.

Collaboration The engineer will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to align testing with business workflows. Participation in agile ceremonies and contributions to test strategy discussions are also required.

Retail Domain Strong knowledge of Retail OMS platforms such as Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Oracle, or Blue Yonder is required. The candidate must have a solid understanding of retail workflows, specifically order orchestration, inventory, and fulfillment.

Technical Expertise Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, and JMeter is essential. Candidates must be proficient in microservices testing methodologies, including API testing, contract testing, and service virtualization.

DevOps & Programming Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is necessary. The role also requires programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting
