Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retail Merchandiser located in Chennai. Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, visual merchandising, and ensuring product displays align with company standards. The role involves collaborating with store teams to maximize product placement and sales, analyzing sales data to forecast trends, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure timely product availability. Facilitating promotional activities and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines are also key tasks for the Retail Merchandiser.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in inventory management and merchandising strategies
• Skills in visual merchandising and understanding of design aesthetics
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities to interpret sales data and predict market trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor negotiations and team coordination
• Prior experience in retail or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
• Ability to adapt to dynamic retail environments and meet deadlines efficiently
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field is an advantage
