Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Restaurant Chef, based in Bhubaneswar. The Restaurant Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation of various dishes from diverse cuisines. Responsibilities include adhering to hygiene and safety standards, supervising kitchen staff, managing food inventory, and maintaining quality in all culinary outputs. The chef will also be responsible for innovating recipes and menus to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Culinary Skills to create high-quality dishes across multiple cuisines.
  • Strong understanding and implementation of Hygiene and Food Safety standards to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Experience in Food Service, including plating, portioning, and maintaining consistency in presentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently and lead a team.
  • A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant experience in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the evolving needs of a dynamic restaurant.
  • Familiarity with diverse cuisines, including Indian, Arabic, Chinese, and Continental, is an asset.
