Restaurant Cashier

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Restaurant Cashier. The Restaurant Cashier will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, ensuring proper cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier station. Additional responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring seamless phone communication for takeaway and reservations. The cashier may also assist in promoting and supporting the restaurant's food and beverage services as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively in a busy restaurant environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, particularly for takeout and reservation inquiries
• Customer service experience with an emphasis on creating a positive customer experience
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Knowledge of food and beverage industries would be advantageous
