Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Captain with a background infine dining to join our team at a premier restaurant in Noida. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to provide exceptional service to ensure a memorable guest experience. You will lead the service team, oversee table service, and ensure smooth operations in alignment with the restaurant's fine dining standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations: Welcome and greet guests professionally, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure.
  • Service Oversight: Supervise and manage the service team, ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service at all times.
  • Order Management: Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar, ensuring all guest preferences and dietary requirements are communicated clearly.
  • Table Management: Ensure tables are set and maintained according to fine dining standards, with attention to detail in table arrangements, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Train, guide, and support the service staff to maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service and ensuring total guest satisfaction.
  • Coordination with Kitchen : Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely delivery of orders, proper presentation, and smooth service flow.
  • Upselling: Recommend menu items offering personalized suggestions to enhance the dining experience and maximize revenue.
  • Reporting: Assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining service reports, guest feedback, and inventory checks as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Captain or in a similar supervisory role in a fine dining
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, food presentation, and wine pairing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage
  • professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing a team in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure while ensuring exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in food handling and restaurant operations.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • An ability to lead by example, motivating the service team to uphold high standards.
