to lead our sales and marketing initiatives in the region.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced candidate, to drive our residential modular furniture sales
within the Chennai territory. The ideal candidate will have deep local market knowledge and a
proven track record in the building materials or Modular Furniture or interior products industry.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing client
relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies
specific to the Chennai residential market for modular furniture.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering
relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and direct
customers.
Sales Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial
contact to closing deals and post-sale relationship management.
Team Collaboration: Potentially build and mentor a small local sales team as operations
scale.
Brand Promotion: Drive brand visibility and market share through targeted marketing
activities, events, and networking.
Reporting: Provide regular, accurate sales forecasts, market feedback, and performance
reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 10 years of professional sales and marketing experience within the building
materials, interior products, or related furniture industry (e.g., Modular kitchens,
wardrobes, plywood, laminates, tiles, sanitaryware, Hardware, fittings etc) is mandatory..
Proven success in a B2B and B2C sales environment within the Chennai region is highly
preferred.
Strong network of contacts within the local real estate, architecture, and interior design
community.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
A strategic mindset with a strong ability to work independently and meet targets.
Proficiency in English and Tamil is essential.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward top performance:
Fixed Monthly Salary Range: 50,000 to 75,000 per month (Commensurate with
experience and proven track record).
Performance Incentives Range: 20,000 to 50,000 per month (Commensurate with
performance-based incentives and bonuses on achieving /exceeding targeted sales goals.
