Job Description

  • Examine patients to evaluate their symptoms, taking a detailed history of the patient's illness or condition
  • Order diagnostic tests, such as hearing tests, imaging studies, or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause and extent of a patient's condition
  • Using the results of the medical exam and diagnostic tests, the doctor will diagnose the patient's condition and recommend a course of treatment
  • Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication, surgery, or other therapeutic interventions
  • Perform surgical procedures to treat conditions such as hearing loss, nasal polyps, and tumors of the head and neck
  • Educating patients and their families on their health, including lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise
