Position Purpose
The Position will be responsible for Automation & Engineering related work
This includes thorough Instrumentation understanding, Interlocks preparations & Detail Engineering knowledge. Including preparation of SOPs & necessary documentation.
This would also include understanding & Knowledge up to commercial scale Instruments for successful technology transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Develop and implement instrumentation and automation systems for industrial processes.
- Create specifications for sensors, transmitters, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems & Interlocks.
Installation & Commissioning
- Oversee installation, calibration, and testing of instruments and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve issues in instrumentation and automation systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Process Optimization
- Analyze data from instruments to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline operations.
Project Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Train operators and technicians on proper use of instrumentation systems.
