JSW Sports is seeking an intern to support research and business strategy initiatives across multiple verticals, including franchises, athlete representation, high-performance sport, commercial partnerships, IP creation, and new business opportunities.
This role is suited for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a structured and data-driven approach, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research across sports ecosystems, consumer sectors, international league structures, and emerging business opportunities.
- Prepare market maps, competitor benchmarking studies, and insight briefs to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development of strategic presentations, IP proposals, valuation frameworks, and go-to-market plans.
- Support the creation of business and financial models as part of new initiatives and investment theses.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of special projects across verticals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of cross-functional projects.
Preferred Profile:
- Strong research capabilities with the ability to analyse markets, sectors, and global sports and consumer trends.
- Ability to interpret data, build structured reports, and synthesise complex information into clear insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, first-principles thinking, and comfort working with ambiguity.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment with senior stakeholder interaction.
- Demonstrated interest in sports, consumer behaviour, technology, and/or new business creation is preferred.
