Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Fellow at Bennett University, located in Noida. The Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, data collection and analysis, preparing research reports and publications, collaborating with academic staff on ongoing projects, and presenting findings at conferences and seminars. Daily tasks include literature review, hypothesis development, experimental design, and data interpretation. He/She will be working on a project on Smart fiber-optic network for multiparameter sensing. The research work would include designing an all-fiber network and simulating its performance, followed by the experimental realization.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or M. Tech. in Applied Physics with 55% in aggregate
• NET or GATE qualification is not required. However, candidates who have cleared NET/SLET/GATE shall be exempted from the written test during the validity of the concerned test
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Writing and preparation skills for research reports, publications, and presentations
• Collaboration skills for working with academic staff and contributing to ongoing projects
