About the Project:
This Government-funded project focuses on the development and demonstration of advanced drone and allied technologies. The initiative aims to address real-world applications through advanced systems, strong industry collaborations, and robust research infrastructure. The project also includes structured drone training and awareness programs to build technical expertise and ecosystem readiness.
Qualification & Key Skills Required:
- BE / B.Tech/ MBA / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent degree with relevant experience in facility, commercial, or operations management.
- Proven experience in complete office and lab setup, infrastructure planning, and execution.
- Strong background in commercial, administrative, and operational management within technical or research environments.
- Expertise in vendor sourcing, negotiation, liaisoning contract management, and supply chain coordination.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, layout planning, and infrastructure setup.
- Experience in inventory control, asset tracking, documentation, and compliance management.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for cross-functional and external stakeholder management.
Job Profile:
- Oversee end-to-end setup and operational management of the drone research facility.
- Manage infrastructure planning, workspace design, lab layout execution, and equipment installation.
- Handle commercial activities, vendor liaisoning, procurement negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Ensure smooth administrative operations, documentation control, and office management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, asset registers, vendor agreements, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams to align facility operations with project timelines.
- Ensure safety standards, maintenance schedules, and regulatory compliance are properly maintained.
- Candidates with a BE/B.Tech background will have a strong advantage, especially those with exposure to technical environments or UAV/Drone projects.
