Requirements
Qualifications : M. Sc. / M.Tech (Oils, Oleochemicals and Surfactants Technology / other branches of Chemistry / M. Tech. (Cosmetics)
From a reputed University, passed in First Class, 3 to 6 years experience.
Work Experience
Has worked in the area of Personal Care product development and evaluations (usage and product life cycle).
Has hands-on experience in product development or formulation development, prototype development and wet chemical analysis related to product and in handling instruments such pH meter, Moisture Analyser, Viscometer and other basic analytical instruments used in Personal Care.
Knowledge on regulatory requirements of soaps and cosmetics.
Has been involved in cosmetic formulation development activities like making batches, conducting stability and sensorial evaluations etc.
I Is exposed to and comfortable with scale up mechanism, batch making in pilot plant and & sensorial studies of personal care products.
Skills
Sound understanding of the principles of Chemistry, process chemistry of Soaps and solids.
Familiarity with raw materials used in personal care products and properties
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
Clarity in thoughts, enthusiastic, self-driven and has willingness to learn
Ability to work in cross functional teams.

Knowledge
Knowledge of cosmetic, personal wash, bar soaps and home care formulation development, wet chemistry and instrumental analysis methods
