What You'll Do
As a Research Associate within BCG's Global Research Organization, you will ensure delivery of accurate and insights-rich projects across different Practice Areas/sectors. You will gain a strong understanding of a wide range of research resources, information portals and approaches critical to delivering research outputs for your stakeholders. You will display your ability to synthesize data and draw insights in the context of the research ask, accurately. Over time, you will regularly engage with seniors in the team to grow your understanding of 1-2 Practice Areas (industries/ functions) and deliver deeper insights for BCG's ongoing cases and knowledge products/IPs.
What You'll Bring
. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechnical, Electrial, Chemical, Civil, Material, Electronics, Industrial) with a strong academic record
. Passionate about working across core manufacturing sectors, such as automotive, cement, metals, chemicals, etc.
. 1 year of relevant work-experience, preferably in a Consulting or Research organization focusing on industrial domain
. Professional certification in AI/ML or Generative AI or equivalent hands-on experience will be a plus
. Excellent English verbal and written
. Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly format

Ensuring consistent high-quality research outputs
. You will ensure complete and error-free delivery of research requests
. Gain expertise in leveraging a wide range of research resources, information portals and approaches in delivering research outputs
. Demonstrate your ability to synthesize (draw insight/conclusion) and package research output that directly address the problem in a clear and structured way
. Opportunistically contribute to BCG publications and internal materials
Developing and demonstrating client-responsiveness
. Develop capabilities to understands and anticipate case team research needs (understanding case-team asks, client contexts, etc. to tailor research accordingly). Continuously engage with senior researchers to discuss the same
. Demonstrate speed-to-output and client-orientation in delivery (improving on effectiveness in research completion)
. Strong ownership and ability to manage (ability to prioritize) concurrent requests
. Strong focus on customer satisfaction
