Research and Development - Head

Key Responsibilities:

• New Product Development:
• Lead the end-to-end RD lifecycle for LED TV products, from concept to commercialization, in alignment with customer requirements and market needs.
• Innovation Technology Integration:
• Identify and integrate emerging technologies and innovations into product design and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, performance, and user experience.
• Market Intelligence:
• Stay abreast of global LED TV trends, competitor benchmarks, and product launches to ensure our offerings remain ahead of the curve.
• Support to Production:
• Provide technical and design support to on-floor production teams to ensure seamless product rollouts and resolve any technical bottlenecks.
• Manufacturing Process Optimization:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce cycle time, and drive cost reductions without compromising on quality.
• Customer Collaboration:
• Work closely with clients/OEMs for new product co-development, product customizations, and technical presentations during pre-sales and development phases.
• Product Testing Reliability:
• Oversee product validation processes including reliability testing, quality benchmarking, and compliance with national/international standards.
• Quality Cost Focus:
• Drive initiatives to enhance product quality while simultaneously identifying cost-saving opportunities through design innovation, material substitution, or process improvements.
• Team Leadership:
• Build and lead a high-performing RD team fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• years of experience in RD, preferably in LED TV, display technologies, or consumer electronics.
• Proven track record of leading new product development and successful product launches in ODM/OEM environments.
• Strong understanding of LED TV architecture, electronics, display modules, and system integration.
• Expertise in reliability and environmental testing, design validation, and quality assurance.
• Ability to interface effectively with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with cost analysis, BOM optimization, and design for manufacturability.
• Strategic mindset with strong project management and leadership capabilities.
