Research and Development Executive

Job Purpose :

To drive & develop technical products and new products as per market requirement and to execute internal research and developments of products under automotive division. He would also work to standardize products at our manufacturing plants & on customer line.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Execution

1. Execute the project and ensure the project timelines are being met
2. Documentation of project is complete and done on time
3. New shade development according to the industry requirements
4. To explore alternate raw material

Technical Support

1. Conduct experiments for investigation and identification of root causes for design
2. New Paint formulation and paint development
3. Carry out shade matching process
4. Related customer complaints & plants issues referred by manufacturing plants
5. Visit customer line and resolve the issues
6. Conduct testing (paint /Intermediate)

Data Management

1. Project data documentation is complete and accurate
2. Ensure Knowledge Management entries are made on time
3. Regularly access KM database to improve knowledge
4. Make SAP entries accurately and on time
5. Updating of shade panel library with new shades developed in group

Equipment / Asset Care

1. Maintain equipment cleanliness & 5S in working area
2. Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment in working area
3. Abnormality analysis and resolution

Innovation

1. Should be inclined towards global competition
2. Ensure learning from own projects and problem solving are captured and documented

Experience : 2 - 5 years

Qualification : MSc, B Tech (Paint Tech.), BSc + DPT, DPT, DSCT, M.Tech
