Job Description

  • Analyse financial data to support treasury management and decision-making.
  • Conduct equity/fund/strategy research and basic due diligence.
  • Coordinate with PMS/AIF/funds, brokers, and custodians for data, statements, and clarifications.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity levels for operational needs.
  • Prepare and present treasury reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Track portfolio holdings, performance, exposures, and corporate actions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend actions to maximise returns.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the treasury function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Research Analyst should have:

  • Graduate/postgraduate in finance, economics, commerce, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CA/ CFA progress) are an advantage
  • 2-5 years in investment research, PMS/wealth management, family office, or buy-side/sell-side role with exposure to reporting and execution support.
  • Exposure in working with a family office is an add-on.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial risks.
