We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst (Associate Level) with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in Equity & Derivatives markets within the Indian Stock Market. The ideal candidate should possess deep market understanding, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to convert complex data into actionable investment insights. This role involves contributing to investment strategies, preparing high-quality research reports, and assisting in the development of rule-based trading models.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Analysis
Conduct detailed fundamental, technical, and derivative data analysis across equities and indices.
- Track market trends, sectoral movements, macroeconomic indicators, and corporate developments.
- Analyse F&O data, including Open Interest, PCR, Volatility, Max Pain, Futures/Options pricing, and market positioning.
- Report & Insight Generation
Prepare daily, weekly, and thematic equity market reports.
- Create derivatives strategy notes, intraday/positional outlooks, and earnings previews.
- Support the senior RA in generating actionable investment recommendations.
Work on building, maintaining, and backtesting rule-based trading models.
- Present insights using dashboards, charts, and quantitative models.
Research Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with the trading desk to align research outputs with execution requirements.
- Keep track of corporate actions, events, and announcements that impact market movement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of equity & derivative products (Futures, Options, Greeks, Volatility).
Hands-on in Technical Analysis & Fundamental Analysis methodologies.
Experience with Research tools: Excel, TradingView, Bloomberg/Refinitiv (preferred), NSE/BSE data sources.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex market data.
Excellent written & verbal communication for drafting research reports.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with close attention to detail.
Proactive approach with strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
NISM Research Analyst Certification (Series XV) or equivalent is mandatory.
Additional certifications in Technical Analysis/Derivatives will be advantageous.
