About The Role
This isn't a typical Research Analyst role.
You will work on initiatives that genuinely transform how finance works in India, a type of work few roles offer.
You will sit at the intersection of
markets, education, and thought leadership , shaping how serious investors understand crypto markets.
In this role, you will produce
high-quality market research, forward-looking insights, and investor education content for professional traders, HNIs, and advanced retail investors. Your work will help investors navigate crypto markets with clarity — translating complex market dynamics into credible and actionable insights.
This is also a
high-visibility role . Your research will inform CoinDCX's market voice across media, investor communication, and strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Drive market intelligence and research
- Produce a weekly State of the Crypto Market report covering price action, volumes, volatility, narratives, and macro signals across BTC, ETH, and key sectors
- Track and analyse global crypto trends across spot, derivatives, DeFi, ETFs, and institutional flows
- Identify emerging market opportunities, risks, and upcoming catalysts across the crypto ecosystem
- Build forward-looking insights
- Write concise research notes highlighting directional market views, narratives, and trading opportunities
- Analyse macro-crypto linkages , including liquidity cycles, risk sentiment, and global financial conditions
- Lead investor and trader education initiatives
- Design educational programs for HNI and advanced investors covering market structure, portfolio construction, and risk management
- Develop trading-focused educational frameworks including market cycles, derivatives strategies, and yield opportunities
- Conduct webinars, investor sessions, and closed-door briefings for high-value users
- Support marketing and thought leadership
- Partner with Marketing to create research-driven campaigns, blogs, and newsletters
- Contribute to media commentary and reports that position CoinDCX as a trusted market voice
- Bridge markets with business strategy
- Collaborate with trading, product, and business teams to align research with market opportunities and product launches
- Provide insights that support VIP clients, institutional engagement, and investor trust
You'll Excel in This Role If You
- Have 3+ years of experience in financial markets research, crypto research, or institutional investing
- Possess a strong understanding of crypto market structure (spot and derivatives), BTC & ETH fundamentals, and key sector narratives
- Understand macro-crypto linkages such as global liquidity cycles, interest rates, and risk-on / risk-off environments
- Have produced high-quality research reports and forward-looking market insights that combine data, narratives, and independent thinking
- Are highly analytical and capable of forming strong, evidence-backed market views
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus if you:
- Have prior experience in sell-side or buy-side research, crypto funds, exchanges, or trading firms
- Are familiar with on-chain analytics platforms such as Glassnode, CryptoQuant, or Nansen
- Understand derivatives market metrics like open interest, funding rates, and basis
- Have experience interacting with HNI or institutional investors
- Have contributed to media commentary, published research, or market reports
