Job Description

Gathering and analyzing data from a variety of sources including company reports, internet, etc
Identify key trends and value and risk drivers
Building, maintaining and analyzing financial models of companies and industries
Prepare a preliminary valuation
Responsible for the financials and sector analysis
- Prepare an excel detailing profit and loss and balance sheet for past years
- Collect and interpret company data to facilitate recommendation
Keeping oneself updated with the latest events about the companies under review
Attending company calls every quarter
Prepare an investment thesis for each company under review
Undertaking management and client interaction
Identifying investment opportunities with respect to stocks
Provide relevant research material/coverage for the sector to the sales/sales trading team to facilitate client interaction
Keeping in touch with the industry so as to understand or identify upcoming stock ideas
Ensure ongoing self-development.
