Reporting Engineer

Overview

The Reporting Engineer supports the production, analysis, and presentation of Win Work and business development data across UK & Ireland Transportation and other divisions. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting to support decision‑making, performance tracking, and strategic planning.

Working closely with divisional and market win work contacts, the Reporting Engineer helps maintain data integrity within CRM systems, promotes data quality initiatives, and supports the development and rollout of new CRM and Win Work systems.

Your role

• Assist with production of UK&I Transportation Win Work data and reporting. Working with divisional win work contacts where appropriate. Producing, analysing, and presenting data, using Excel, Power BI and Powerpoint.
• Assist with production of various Divisional Win Work data and reporting. Working with market win work contacts where appropriate. Producing, analysing, and presenting data, using Excel, Power BI and Powerpoint.
• Assist with maintenance of data in CRM - opportunities, accounts, contacts, user licences etc. where appropriate
• Assist with initiatives to promote data quality in CRM across UK&I Transportation
• Support development and roll-out of CRM and new WW systems

About you

• Very good mathematical skills
• Very good excel skills - using basic/advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, formatting etc. to analyse/present data
• Experience of working with CRM, including win work reporting functions (ideally, but if not, would accept someone new to CRM who you can train up - needs to be comfortable using databases)
• Familiarity with Power BI would be beneficial but not essential - ability to use the reports to analyse and extract data where necessary
• Good powerpoint skills - able to format and present data in a tidy and clear manner
• Attention to detail/accuracy and ability to sense check data/reports so they can be issued without further checks
• Excellent planning and organisation skills - able to organise own workload to meet deadlines, without needing close supervision
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to build relationships with market/practice/win work teams
