Role Overview
The Reporting & Analytics Engineer builds scalable reporting solutions, analytical models, and BI assets using Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI(must). The role enables reliable, highquality insights for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Synapse Pipelines, Dataflows, and Fabric Data Factory.
- Build optimized analytical data models and manage datasets across Synapse, Fabric Lakehouse, and Warehouse.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, semantic models, DAX measures, and Power Query (M) transformations.
- Manage Power BI Workspaces, dataflows, RLS security, gateway configurations, and refresh schedules.
- Implement KPIs, metrics, and reusable data products aligned with business needs.
- Conduct data analysis and convert business requirements into scalable BI and Fabric-based solutions.
- Ensure data quality, documentation, and governance across Synapse, Fabric & Power BI environments.
- Optimize SQL queries, pipelines, Direct Query models, and Power BI datasets for performance.
- Required Skills
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT tools (Synapse Pipelines, ADF, DBT, SSIS).
- Expertise in Power BI: DAX, M, dataflows, semantic modeling, incremental refresh, Direct Lake/Direct Query.
- Handson experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Serverless, Dedicated SQL, Pipelines, Spark).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2).
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Bonus: Python for scripting and automation.

- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data engineering roles.
- Preferred
- Experience building enterprise semantic models in Power BI/Fabric.
- CI/CD for Power BI & Fabric items (DevOps/Git Integration).
CTC:INR 1518 lakhs
