Analyze the existing Crystal Reports inventory (40K) to categorize them by complexity (Low/Medium/High).
Identify actively used reports, common templates, and existing stored procedure/report mappings.
Evaluate Crystal Reports functionalities not directly supported in SSRS and propose workarounds.
Define and prepare AI-assisted migration prompts for automating repetitive tasks (e.g., formula translation, RDL generation).
Collaborate with customer POC to validate report usage and rationalization outcomes.
Lead the technical migration efforts from Crystal Reports to SSRS, ensuring accuracy and performance.
Establish reusable templates, mapping frameworks, and best practices for the migration process.
Guide and review work performed by trainees and associate engineers working on low/medium complexity reports.
Conduct quality checks, peer reviews, and validation testing before report sign-off.
Required Skills & Experience
610 years of total experience in reporting tools, with strong hands-on expertise in Crystal Reports and SSRS.
Proven experience in report design, data modeling, SQL stored procedures, and parameterized reports.
Good understanding of SQL Server (T-SQL), data sources, joins, and performance optimization.
Experience in report migration projects or modernization from legacy BI platforms.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or automation frameworks is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently drive deliverables.
Excellent communication and client-interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based deliverables.
Understanding of version control and CI/CD integration for SSRS deployments
