Understand and interpret Aero-engine repair processes
A repair Engineer capable of interpreting information contained within the blueprints (Engineering Drawings) of Aero Engine Components and the development of Component Overhaul Instructions
Responsible for having the instructions within the Cleaning Inspection and Repair (CIR) and Overhaul Manuals kept up to date by working in Contenta / SGML (ATA 100 / ATA 2200 / S1000D) (Arbor Text Epic Editor 5.4 preferably).
Responsible for having the figures/illustrations within the CIR and Overhaul Manuals kept up to date by working in Tech Illustrator Express, preferably.
Understand and interpret customer requirements via telephonic conversations/meetings and implement the same in the day-to-day work.
Will need to work in Shifts (100% Work from Office)
Required Skills:
Knowledge of the working principles of Gas Turbine Engines
Minimum 3 to 7 years hands-on experience in Aero-engine repair processes, minimum experience in Repair development/shop floor experience on repair processes and sound knowledge on disassembly/assembly of aero engine components and interpretation of Engg. Drawings related to Aero Engine components
Fluency in written and spoken English (or should have excellent communication skills)
Technical Publication Experience (Preparation of CSBs, CIR, OHMs, Illustrations, SB Incorporation, and response to customer queries, Etc.
Experience in Tech Authoring (ATA 100 / ATA 2200, S1000D and Tech Illustrating tools would be an added advantage)
Knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
Knowledge of Quality Control Procedures
