Position Responsibilities

Renewal & Growth Specialists Role Overview

The Renewal & Growth role is responsible for owning and growing recurring revenue across a portfolio of strategic and high-ACV accounts. This role plays a critical part in protecting long-term revenue, driving uplift and expansion, and managing complex commercial negotiations across the customer lifecycle.

This is a highly cross-functional, commercially focused role, requiring close partnership with Customer Success, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Executive stakeholders to drive consistent renewal outcomes, manage risk, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own renewal strategy and execution for high-value and complex accounts, driving multi-year renewals, uplifts, and expansion while protecting margin and precedent
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, including pricing, contract structure, concessions, and term strategy, balancing customer retention with revenue protection
  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor to Customer Success and Sales on renewal risk, customer positioning, and deal strategy
  • Partner closely with Legal and Finance to structure contracts, manage exceptions, and ensure compliance with commercial and contractual guardrails
  • Drive early renewal engagement and proactive risk identification to reduce churn and last-minute escalations
  • Identify and influence expansion and packaging opportunities, including migrations from legacy pricing and adoption of new offerings
  • Maintain strong ownership of forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and executive-level reporting for monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Analyze renewal performance, churn drivers, and customer trends, providing clear insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Capture and synthesize customer feedback to inform retention strategies and improve long-term revenue outcomes

Qualifications


Experience & Qualifications

3 + years of experience in Renewals, Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales, with direct ownership of revenue

Proven track record of high-ACV renewals, multi-year deals, and uplift strategy

Experience working closely with Legal and Finance on contract structuring and concessions

Salesforce And Gainsight Experience Strongly Preferred

Bachelor's degree required;

Proven experience managing enterprise or upper-SMB renewal motions

High accountability for forecast accuracy and revenue outcomes

Comfortable engaging with senior customer stakeholders and internal leadership

Data-driven mindset with strong CRM and forecasting discipline
