Role: Senior ServiceNow Integration expert with Nautobot- NRE/Ansible

In-scope activities
ServiceNow Catalog Implementation for Network Upgrades
- Creation of structured Service Catalog forms (Cisco/Aruba/Velo)
- Definition of catalog criteria (Site, Platform, Device, Code Version, Schedule)
- Development of approval workflows mapped to catalog types
- Trigger NRE workflows during:
- Pre-stage
- Implementation
- Post-change validation
- Auto-update work notes with dynamic execution logs
- End-to-end workflow for closure with artifact validation
ISP Integration
- Master INC auto-creation when Core/WAN routers are detected down
- Integration with AT&T / Granite ServiceNow Store applications (where applicable)
- Open, update, and close ISP tickets from ServiceNow
- Create SS iTask for power validation (if applicable)
- Maintain synchronization between ISP ticket state and ServiceNow record
ServiceNow Health Check Button (INC/CHG)
- Develop UI Action button for device health checks
- Pull health status for all devices linked to record
- Structured summary update into Work Notes
- Logging of execution results and timestamps
NRE Tool Integration
- Define API-based integration architecture
- Enable ServiceNow to:
- Trigger NRE execution
- Retrieve validation output
- Attach execution artifacts
- Design and implement standardized ServiceNow catalog workflows for Cisco, Aruba firmware/IOS upgrade activities including:
- Approval workflows
- Pre-stage and implementation steps
- Manual validation checkpoints
- Closure with artifact validation
- Enable integration between ServiceNow and the existing NRE tool to:
- Trigger NRE execution from ServiceNow records (INC/CHG/REQ)
- Provide Device health checks dynamically
- Capture validation outputs and artifacts
- Auto-update work notes with structured health summary
- Establish initial integration endpoints to:
- Expose ServiceNow data via APIs
- Enable data ingestion by Nautobot NRE Engine
- Create trigger-based automation workflows
- Lay foundation for predictive and proactive operations
