Remote AR VR XR Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop immersive AR/VR applications using Unity, Unreal Engine, or WebXR
• Create and optimize 3D assets and environments for XR platforms
• Implement spatial computing and gesture recognition systems
• Integrate AI-powered features for enhanced user interactions
• Develop cross-platform XR solutions for various devices (headsets, mobile AR, mixed reality)
• Optimize performance for real-time rendering and low latency
• Implement security measures for user privacy in virtual environments
• Collaborate with UX designers and 3D artists in remote-first teams
• Conduct user testing and implement feedback for immersive experiences

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in AR/VR development
• Proficiency in Unity3D or Unreal Engine development
• Strong C#, C++, or JavaScript programming skills
• Experience with XR SDKs (ARCore, ARKit, OpenXR)
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation principles
• Understanding of spatial computing and computer vision
• Experience with version control and collaborative development
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in XR applications

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with WebXR and web-based AR solutions
• Knowledge of cloud rendering and streaming XR content
• Familiarity with haptic feedback systems
• Experience with multiplayer networking in virtual environments
• Understanding of blockchain and NFT integration for metaverse applications
• Knowledge of eye-tracking and biometric input systems
• Experience with volumetric video and motion capture
• Certifications in Unity, Unreal, or other XR platforms
• Background in UX design for immersive experiences
