Release Manager

Job Title: Release Manager

Location: Hyderabad(Hybrid)

Work Timings: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and evolve the AI product release strategy, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and scalability across all releases.
• Develop frictionless release processes that minimize manual effort and enable smooth, frequent deployments.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and MLOps to align release plans with business and product goals.
• Establish and maintain release governance, quality checks, and approval workflows to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Maintain a centralized release calendar that captures planning, coordination, and execution timelines for all AI releases.
• Identify and proactively resolve bottlenecks and risks across the release lifecycle.
• Lead release readiness and go/no-go meetings, ensuring stakeholder alignment and accountability.
• Monitor and report on key release performance metrics, such as lead time, change success rate, and rollback frequency.
• Conduct post-release retrospectives and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Promote an automation-first and continuous improvement mindset across all release management practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Release Management or Program Management within a product or technology organization.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end release cycles for digital, data, or AI-powered platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to streamline release processes and implement scalable governance frameworks.
• Experience with release planning tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills to align product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Familiarity with AI/ML development lifecycles (such as model versioning or testing cycles) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for process excellence and delivery predictability.
